• New working hours schedule announced in UAE for the private sector in Ramadan

    The working hours in UAE for the private sector will be lessened by two hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan. On Wednesday Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation circular.

    According to the International Astronomical Centre, the Holy month of Ramadan is likely to begin on 6 May in most of the Islamic nations.

    The working hours will be shortened in two hours in the Holy month of Ramadan in private sectors, companies, institutes. According to the Government.ae's official website.

    "Federal Law No. 8 of 1980 regarding Labour Law and its amendments, working hours are reduced by two hours during Ramadan. Even non-Muslims are entitled to reduced working hours during Ramadan without a pay cut," regarding working hours in UAE is mentioned under the section.
