    Kolor us in

    Somewhere between realism and abstract art lies Kolor Palette, an art exhibition hosted by Aart Souqk 6 featuring the works of Indian and international artists. It's on at DUCTAC - Gallery of Light at the Mall of the Emirates from today to October 1 and is curated by Ghayathri Desai. The title refers to the intensity of colour, the variety of skills and techniques refined from traditional times.

    Fancy! Wed wear

    You are not going to want to miss the 'glamtastic' Couture Wedding affair curated by the editor of Harper's Bazaar Bride India. The Couture Wedding show will see the creme de la creme of India's Fashion royalty come down to Dubai, all showcasing their lastest collections. It's on at the Ritz-Carlton, JBR today and tomorrow from 12pm.

    Fiesta tide

    Get read to party hard! Xclusive Yachts in Dubai has launched its new themed event cruises and this Friday it kicks off with the 'Xclusive Latin Fiesta Cruise' from 2pm onwards. The three-hour cruise will host the reggae musical band - The Roots Culture, and DJ Saif Da will entertain all the way, with unlimited drinks and a choice of canapés on offer.

    One of the most famous singers from the region will be in Dubai today. Brace yourselves! Heartthrob Mohammed Assaf, who is the face of Max's 'Fashion for Real People' campaign, has been the brand ambassador for Max for the last two years. To celebrate, he will meet and greet his fans at Oasis Mall, Al Quoz, tonight at 7pm. Be in the atrium and don't miss out.

    Beach life tonight

    Take a break at Casa Playa today and tomorrow as part of the season's opening party at Nasimi Beach, Atlantis The Palm and enjoy acoustic summer jams, beach-inspired activities and a chilled boho vibe. Activities, live music and international acts, give you the perfect excuse to head down to the beach to catch Claptone, DJ Felix Jaehn and Lost Frequencies.

    Led Zeppelin. sort of

    After the success of the Queen tribute at the start of this month, on September 30, Hats off to Led Zeppelin will be in Dubai. Not only did they win the UK's National Tribute Music Award this year, but they are also managed by the son of Led Zeppelin's actual manager. They will be playing the Hard Rock Café in Dubai Festival City at 8.30pm You must be over 15 to see them.

    Friday will be another stellar beach day and all-night party at Blue Marlin with world renowned DJs Francesca Lombardo and Rampue (live). Classically trained and with Italian roots, Francesca is one not to miss.
